Our Creative Businesses

Make-It creates opportunities for local makers to pilot and launch their creative businesses within our walls (and beyond!). Whenever possible, we allow members to sublet portions of our space to test out their business concept before spending their life savings on their own.  Once they outgrow our 4 walls, we help them secure either larger shared space or their own permanent location.
If you or someone you know is interested in subletting space for a studio, service business, or retail business, please contact us.  Below you will find examples of current businesses co-located at Make-It Springfield. Please support them in any way you can!

Springfield’s mobile community bike shop, launched in 2016, is bringing bike repair education and open tool access to all of Springfield’s neighborhoods.

RadSpringfield began as a weekly workshop at Make-It in June 2016 and has continued to grow ever since.  Now with a garage shop at Springfield College and programming around the City, RadSpringfield serves a need and continues to expand its impact.
