RADSpringfield is Springfield's Community Bike Shop. Launched in 2016, RAD brings bike repair education and open tool access to Springfield’s downtown, community members and neighborhoods. Youth can earn a bike by participating in repair and clean up and the public can stop in to purchase bikes or drop off bikes for repairs. RAD often provides free and low-cost bikes for those who need one and collaborates with local agencies to provide and repair bikes. Bike donations, and volunteer technicians are always welcome!

The bike shop is located in downtown Springfield at Make-It Springfield, 168 Worthington Street. They are open to the public on Monday's 2:00-6:00 pm or by appointment. To learn more, email or visit their website.

Make-It creates opportunities for local makers to pilot and launch their creative businesses. If you or someone you know is interested in subletting space for a studio, service business, or retail business, please contact us
